Summer Leaves Shadow

Postoperative Care

  • during the first hour: use the 2x2 gauze provided in your post-op kit to light dab on the eyebrows every 20-30 minutes, you may notice some pigment being on the gauze and that is normal due to it sticking to natural eyebrow hairs easily.

  • Keep the Area Clean: apply aftersoap to a clean fingertip and gently wash the brows with cold water outside of the shower in the direction of the hairstrokes. Pat the area dry with a papertowel or tissue, avoiding rubbing or scrubbing the brows.
  • cleansing them should be done every morning and night for the first 10 days.

  • Apply bowler esthetics Healing Balm: Put a rice size amount of the healing balm on your finger tip and dab it onto the brows after they have been dried from cleansing.
  • the healing balm can be used 2-3 times daily, it is recomended after cleansing the brows morning and night but can be used a third time during the day if your brows feel dry, tight or flaky.

avoid this for the next 14 days

  • Moisture and Sweat: Avoid exposing the eyebrow area to excess moisture, such as swimming pools, saunas, hot tubs, and intense exercise, for at least ten days following the procedure. Excessive sweating can interfere with the healing process and cause the pigment to fade prematurely.

  • Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect the treated area from direct sunlight and tanning beds during the healing process. Sun exposure can cause the pigment to fade and increase the risk of irritation and inflammation. Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to the eyebrows when going outside, and wear a hat or sunglasses for added protection.

  • Avoid Picking or Scratching: Refrain from picking, scratching, or rubbing the treated area, as this can disrupt the healing process and cause pigment loss or scarring. Let the scabs and flaking skin naturally slough off on their own.

  • Keep the Eyebrows Dry: Avoid getting the eyebrows wet during the initial healing period, typically the first 7-10 days. Refrain from washing the face directly over the brows, and avoid steamy showers or baths that can cause excess moisture to penetrate the skin.

  • Avoid Makeup and Skincare Products: Refrain from applying makeup, skincare products, or other topical treatments to the eyebrow area during the initial healing phase. These products can interfere with the healing process and cause irritation or infection.

  • Avoid Touching the Eyebrows: Minimize touching, rubbing, or sleeping on the treated area to prevent accidental displacement of pigment and disturbance of the healing process.
